Winter would not have been winter without the annual Chicago Indoor Rowing Championships (CIRC). This indoor extravaganza pits us against some of the best competitors in the state, and this year was no exception. Not lost amid an exceptional display by Quad Cities Rowing Club (whose top Junior male broke the CIRC record) was the fact that, for the first time, three CTC competitors clocked in under the seven-minute mark. Curtis Miranda (a Team 5000 member) won the Junior Lightweight Boys category, and CTC again dominated the elementary competition. Complete event results can be found here.
