Chicago's Public Broadcasting TV affiliate, WTTW-TV, 'Chicago Tonight' segment on the Chicago Training Center's program. Channel 11's Christian Farr’s the story on the growth of CTC programming. The segment includes scenes on the Lincoln Park Boat Club Lagoon, on the Chicago River and at Loyola Law School. Executive Director Montana Butsch coaching CTC members, and Alderman Willie Cochran, Sean Harden of the Mayor's Office and Patrick Slattery expressing their views on the growing program.

CTC Executive Director Montana Butsch, and rowers Abigail Avila and Argel Herrera join CTC supporters at the 155th Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race on the River Thames sponsored by Xchanging. CTC teens in Chicago will watch live from Gage Park at 2411 W 55th Street. In addition, CTC teens at Gage Park participate in internet erg racing with London Youth Rowing at the Thames Rowing Club.
