We are always looking for individuals who wish to volunteer their time to bettering our athletes. We welcome alumni, adults with rowing experience, and individuals who have never rowed but want to offer a skill set to our youth. Alumni are encouraged to stay involved even after their time on the team as coaches or in other areas such as equipment repair. We hope to develop strong leaders and mentors.
For those of you with no prior ties to Chicago Training Center, we welcome adults with past rowing experience in either highschool, college, and/or as masters to join our volunteer coaching staff and become mentors!
Experience in rowing or coaching is not required though to become involved with Chicago Training Center. We are open to training individuals passionate about mentoring youth in athletics and other skill sets, but we do provide training to become a coach so don’t let a lack of knowledge stop you from joining the CTC family! If you have skills and expertise in other areas such as equipment repair we implore you to reach out as we always need help in keeping our equipment in tip top shape, and you could help teach our athletes more about the equipment they use everyday!
